We believe that any church’s mission statement should follow and reflect the great commission that Jesus gave us in Matthew 28:16-20.
Our mission statement is: Developing passionate Jesus-followers.
Developing – In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus tells His disciples to go into the world and make disciples of all nations. He tells them to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then He tells them to teach them everything Christ had taught them. Developing reflects our heart to see people coming into saving faith in Jesus Christ and continuing to grow in their walk with Jesus.
Passionate – Our relationship with Jesus is a 24/7, 365 thing. We are supposed to be growing, learning, and sold out for Jesus. Passionate reflect our heart to see people excited about relationship with Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus-followers – Another way to say “disciple” is simply “Jesus-follower.” Jesus Christ is our Lord, Savior, and King. Jesus–followers reflects our heart to see people saved and set free in Jesus, experiencing right relationship with the Triune God.
